In his book, he criticizes many Western Christians for focusing too much on meeting the physical needs of the poor when, in reality, their biggest need is spiritual. There is a balance here, however: we should not neglect people's physical needs, either. I know of at least one Christian leader from India who would disagree with this. His name is K. P.
